Maya Risman did a great job representing me with my employment based claim. When I first talked to Maya about my situation, she listened intently and conveyed an understanding of what I was going through. I came to the Risman law firm for assistance with a very messy exit from my previous company. At the time I was working for a large company that was going through changes and found myself in a highly abusive situation, feeling completely powerless going against this massive corporation. I needed help and protection and serious advice on how to get out amicably and professionally, while getting what I deserved. I had such a great free consultation with Jeffery today that I don't think it even should have been free. He didn't try to rush me off the phone it was him that did most of the talking and he kept asking me for more details of my situation to better assess it.

I wasnt looking to hire an attorney for a case but just for some legal perspective from a professional on a work situation I find myself in and he gave me a number for another agency that might be more fitting in terms of cost and the short amount of time that I needed to speak with a lawyer.

After being terminated from my employer when trying to return back to work after a disability I felt lost and didn’t even know the right people to call nor the steps I needed to take. A few months ago I was discharged from my job when I informed my employers I was pregnant. I knew at the time what had happened to me was absolutely wrong and unfair. I’ve used Jeff on two distinct occasions.

One situation had involved a past employer withholding contractually obligated performance bonus payments upon my departure from the company.
