About Shannon Barry
Ms. Barry graduated from Duquesne University in 2018 with a B.S. in Finance and International Business. She received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School in 2021.
Prior to joining Risman & Risman, Ms. Barry interned for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Department of Labor, and represented unions in ERISA matters. These experiences gave her a deep understanding of how federal agencies and employers operate — knowledge she now uses in advocating for workers.
Ms. Barry is a member of the New York State Bar, the Southern District of New York, and the District of Columbia Bar. She is determined to dedicate her career to advocating for workers. Ms. Barry is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association — New York Chapter.
